Our Services
Excalibur is qualified to design, install, and conduct annual lifeline inspections and to re-certify lifelines for DBI/SALA and 3M Fall Protection. Excalibur will help you choose fall protection equipment that effectively protects workers from hazards, while remaining in compliance with government regulations.
horizontal fall protection systems
Excalibur is qualified to design and install 3M Fall Protection and DBI/SALA permanent horizontal lifeline systems to meet OSHA 1926.501 fall protection requirements, and to provide engineered solutions where required. Horizontal systems provide complete protection and continuous access utilizing a stainless steel shuttle that slides easily over intermediate anchorage brackets, as well as around inside or outside corners with no manipulation required by the user. Systems are designed to meet fall restraint or fall arrest requirements.
vertical fall protection systems
Our staff has extensive experience installing vertical use safety systems that offer fall protection when climbing a fixed ladder. These hands-free fall arrest systems will stop a fall in less than 2 feet. Guided-type fall arrest systems are available for straight or curved ladders and for connection to wood, concrete or steel structures.
temporary horizontal & vertical lifelines
Excalibur offers 3M Fall Protection and DBI/SALA product lines that provide temporary fall protection for workers, when combined with the appropriate full-body harness and a shock absorbing lanyard. Common applications for these temporary systems include: dams, bridge and building construction sites, manufacturing maintenance sites, and shipyards.
anchorage connectors
Excalibur provides and installs custom-designed, engineered (when required), and fabricated anchorage connectors to meet your site-specific fall protection requirements. Anchorage connectors, combined with the appropriate devices, can be fabricated for a wide variety of substrates and may be part of any fall protection system.
inspection & re-certification
Excalibur is qualified to conduct annual inspections and to re-certify lifeline systems for 3M Fall Protection and DBI/SALA. Annual inspections ensure that systems comply with OSHA and ANSI standards and that system users continue to work safely.
training for installed systems
Lifeline systems installed by Excalibur can include a hands-on training session for system users. Training encompasses fall safety related to the system, proper use of the appropriate Personal Fall Arrest System (PFAS), and general maintenance of the system. Our company strongly encourages clients to make on-site training available to familiarize users with lifeline systems they will depend on.
site evaluations
Our company will schedule a site visit, if appropriate, to conduct a specific fall protection installation analysis. A site visit is a valuable tool to determine requirements for new systems and to review existing fall protection issues at your facility. Excalibur has extensive experience with system design and installation.
